The Founder Michelle Nielsen and Co Founder Sharry Eastman
Michelle Nielsen desired for her little girl to have more options to wear in terms of headbands and hats. She envisioned fashionable hats and headbands that went beyond the bland ones offered. This dream lingered in the back of her mind through the years, through marriage, a move to Utah and the birth of her children. It was after her second child, Maile Kehaulani, when Michelle decided to make that dream a reality.
She called up her Mother, Sharry Eastman! The geneous behind the artistically made hats who helped bring the idea to reality. And so with the support of her husband Jared and her Mother Sharry, Michelle went forward with the self-funded project. Without any major roadblocks standing in the way, the project progressed and Bébé Trends Boutique was born.
Buttons & Bows
The company handmakes each hat with the best materials in bright, fun colors and with buttons and bows. Michelle took a different approach to the business model, avoiding the cut-throat competitive nature of standard retail, such as high end boutique stores. Instead she desires to create a party system, and by so doing hopes to build a community of consultants who support each other in their success. Recognizing the pressures of raising a family and the importance of camaraderie among mothers. All mothers love their children and anything fashionable and trendy is a must have, but it has to be affordable.
